Kingdom Hearts 3 Free DLC Updates Detailed.

(AfroGamers.com) Kingdom Hearts 3 developer Square Enix has confirmed that the game’s secret ending and epilogue are free DLC which will be available during the launch week. On Twitter, the company outlined the schedule for these updates confirming that patch 1.01 will be released on January 29 which will add some data fixes. The update also adds the Memory Archive videos Square Enix talked about earlier. It is a digest of the series’ story. Once the update goes out, the videos can be viewed from the Kingdom Hearts 3’s title menu at any time.

On January 30, Square Enix will release the epilogue video for Kingdom Hearts 3, but only those who have completed the game will be able to watch it. On the next day, January 31st, the “secret” video will be added to Kingdom Hearts 3. Square Enix said that players won’t need an internet connection to watch this video, but they will need to fulfill certain criteria during the gameplay. Players will also have to see the ending before they view this secret video and the eligibility criteria for the same also depends on the difficulty level players choose.

Last month, Kingdom Hearts 3 was leaked and since then, Square Enix has been trying to avoid spoilers. According to the developer, the free DLC will enhance gameplay experience in many ways and it will add more enjoyment to the game. When the copy of the Xbox version of Kingdom Hearts 3 leaked in December, Kingdom Hearts chief Tetsuya Nomura said that the game’s physical copies which were sold on Facebook at that time, don’t contain the entire game. He also requested the community to not share videos and screenshots.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will let your nostalgia run wild as the game features some mini-games and it also brings back our favourite characters from Disney and Pixar. The game will feature 4 mini-games which you can unlock. These mini-games are designed in the same way 1980’s LCD games were designed for Nintendo’s Game & Watch devices. In the classic kingdom trailer released by Square Enix, you can watch all the four mini-games which will be a part of Kingdom Hearts 3 when it launches in January.

Sora is returning as the protagonist and she will later be joined by King Mickey, Donald Duck, Riku, and Goofy as the group goes in search of the seven Guardians of Light. These characters will also cross paths with other popular characters from Pixar and Disney properties. From Disney and Pixar, Jack Sparrow, Hercules, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Rapunzel, Simba, and many other characters will be available in the game. The game’s official trailer gives us a glimpse of how each of these characters will play their roles in the game.

Master Xehanort will lead the enemy team with the evil fairy Maleficent, Riku’s replica, Xigbar, Luxord, Vanitas, and many other characters. Kingdom Hearts 3 is the final chapter of the Xehanort or Dark Seeker saga. The game’s story picks up after the events of Dream Drop Distance. The final battle will bring seven lights and thirteen darknesses together.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will come out on January 25 in Japan and many other Asian countries. The worldwide release is scheduled for January 29, the day when the first patch will be released. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It is a direct sequel to the series’ Kingdom Hearts 2 game which was released exclusively for PlayStation 2 in 2006 (worldwide).

It will be the first time when Kingdom Hearts will be available on Xbox. Previously released games of the series were limited to Nintendo and Sony’s PlayStation platforms. During the E3 2018, Microsoft promised fans that the game will be available on Xbox One, and Microsoft will work with Square Enix to guarantee that Kingdom Hearts 3 works best on the console.
