One part of the Dragon Ball lore that I’d love to see explored is the classic era of martial arts. I’d love to see Kami’s origins on Earth revisited as well but seeing the early days of Master Roshi and Master Shen. Those two must have had adventures before and during their training under Master Mutaito.

Today, there’s no actual excuse for not finishing Dragon Ball or any anime thanks to a service like Crunchy Roll. I can understand not finishing One Piece as it’s a ton of episodes and people have lives and other interests. However, for most anime series stuff like Netflix and Hulu also come in clutch.

With that said, if The Meteor Man was brought back today, it would definitely benefit from better writing. Townsend did well for a superhero flick for the early 90s but today’s fans want more background in everything: comics, film, superhero film and television shows, horror—everything needs lore.

I will forgive vouch for the Chun Li vs. Vega in this movie. This is hands down the best fight of the whole thing and the one that got the best amount of time. Vega dominated in this one and was better than Chun Li in every sense: speed, strength, skill—you name it.
