My Favorite First Person Shooter Video Games.

(AfroGamers.com) I’ve always been a fan of playing first person shooter games since the days of playing Goldeneye 007 back during The Nintendo 64 Era.

In recent years, first person shooters such as Call Of Duty have come under heavy criticism from anti-gaming “activists” and politicians in DC for “promoting and glorifying school shootings”. My first thought to that is, “How can they blame video games for violence unless they’re gonna blame Arnold Swarzenegger for all the people he killed in The Terminator.”

Despite the pushback from anti-gaming “activists” and politicians in DC, first person shooter games are more popular than they were during The Nintendo 64 Era.

Here are my favorite first person shooter video games;

1. Goldeneye 007 – I remember during my early teenage years, I would literally play this game so often on some of the weekends that I came over to my dad’s house. The gameplay and graphics in this game were top notch as well as The beautifully detailed designs of the stages in which my favorite stage in this game was the bonus Egyptian stage where the pyramids looked so beautiful.

There were so many weapons to choose in the game from 007’s favorite weapon in the silencer PP7 to my favorite weapon in the game in the AK-47 commonly known in the streets as “the chopper”. The one weapon I hated most in this game was the golden gun because even though it’s the most powerful weapon in The 007 universe, but the fact is that it had only 1 bullet which can automatically kill the most powerful of enemies in The 007 Universe in Jaws. This will always be my favorite first person shooter video game.

2.  Doom 64 – Doom 64 was another first person shooter video game on The Nintendo 64 that I enjoyed playing during my teenage years in which you use your intelligence and wits to survive an onslaught of enemies in the game’s 32 levels that were determined to take you out from zombies to invisible demons. The gameplay and graphics for this game were so amazing that they were better than the previous SNES and PC versions.

There were also a variety of weapons to choose from in this game from the standard pistol and shotgun to more powerful weapons like the laser and the plasma gun which were my favorite weapons to use from this game to kill off invisible demons and centaur zombies. This first person shooter video game is still one of my favorites to this day.

3. Unkilled – This first person shooter mobile game was an amazing game because not only could you defeat zombies with weapons like assault rifles, but the cool part was that you can also build your own zombie army so that you can use them against other zombies in battle. The graphics and gameplay for this game were very good as well as the fact that you can get great prizes by shooting your way up the ranks against other players in PVP mode which I absolutely enjoyed. This game will always have a special place in my heart.

The Conclusion – First person shooter video games are actually enjoyable when playing against other players just to see which player is the better one without the PVP match turning into something stupid.
