(AfroGamers.com) If you’re an avid gamer, then the PS5 will surely be a dream come true. With the release of PlayStation’s newest console comes a plethora of new games and experiences that gamers can take advantage of. Here we have compiled a list of the best PS5 games for your perusal.

  1. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

At long last, a Spider-Man game that does justice to the legacy of this iconic superhero. It’s time for Spider-Man games to return to greatness and we believe Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is just the beginning.

One of the much-awaited PS5 games Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales pits players as Miles who has been developing his own skills all along. The story unfolds as we follow Miles on his journey towards becoming the web-swinging savior the city deserves, with each major turning point in his life feeling natural and familiar.

  1. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is the latest installment in Ubisoft’s hit open-world Assassin’s Creed franchise. Set in Viking times, the game gives players a chance to experience the brutal and beautiful landscapes. With a focus on exploration and combat, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla features all-new gameplay mechanics that take advantage of the Ubisoft Anvil engine.

As one of only six remaining Norse gods, Freyja is tasked with turning back Ragnarok – a series of events leading to the destruction of Asgard and Earth – but she has doubts about her abilities as well as those around her.

  1. Gran Turismo 7

The eighth installment in the Gran Turismo racing series, “Gran Turismo 7”, is set to release in 2022. It will feature even more authentic racing and graphics and be compatible with both PS4 and the PlayStation 5. With this announcement, it seems like Sony is promising yet another fantastic game for its loyal following of gamers everywhere. This announcement alone shows just how much Sony has advanced the gaming industry in these new times, so it only makes sense that a company as prestigious as Sony would have some of the best games around. That being said, they do not disappoint with this newest addition to their list of PS5 games: “Gran Turismo 7”.

  1. Deathloop

Deathloop is a game that proves the saying, “All good things come in threes.” The game is an action-adventure shooter set in the fictional island of Blackreef. The game boasts some of the best graphics and gameplay that the PS5 has to offer. The protagonist is Colt, who is on a mission to take out eight targets before, especially before the so-called “time loop” reset which happens at midnight.

Deathloop features procedurally placed enemies, items, collectibles, and secret areas. When starting a new session, elements can be different for each player even though they are playing in the same area.

  1. Far Cry 6

In Far Cry 6, the main plot revolves around a soldier named Dani Rojas. The game is set in a fictional island called Yara, which is renowned for its beautiful landscapes. It is said to be the largest area to ever appear in the Far Cry video game series.

It seems like a lot of people enjoy this series as much as we do – a lot of you have played at least one game from the series already! If you haven’t, we recommend it.   1. Dying Light 2 Stay Human:

Dying Light is back with a sequel that might have you thinking about its predecessor more than you think. The game shows you what it would be like to live in a world ruled by zombies. Where other games might have you shooting first and asking questions later, Dying Light 2 asks what would happen if humanity were to do things differently.

This game is set in the fictional area called The City, which can be explored freely and offers seven distinct regions with each having its own new locations and landmarks.
