Looking Back at 2017’s Absolver.

With those two points, I’d say that Absolver is the start to what could be a good series. It’s far from bad but it’s not exactly a great game. It doesn’t seem barebones but it’s a pretty sparse world you’re diving into. In a potential sequel, I would like to see…civilization in the world of Adal. Also, being able to name skill combos and establish martial arts technique manuals and formal schools would be great.

The Nightmare Dungeons in Diablo IV Should Just Be Replaced by the Vaults.

There’s just something about going through a lengthy dungeon delve and getting an abundance of trash gear that smacks of time wasted. With the vaults, you can smash them, get some trash gear, but the sting just seems reduced significantly because you weren’t in there long. Even if the Son of Malphus or The Butcher pops up, it’s still not a “better bring a lunch” adventure.

But what do you think? Do you prefer the nightmare vaults or are you still team nightmare dungeons

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Its Skill Tree Are Worth Revisiting.

Of course, I still have to check out AC Mirage which I’ve heard is a return to core AC but as it stands with Valhalla—on just the skill tree alone and what can be done with it—I’d say check it out if you haven’t yet or give it a revisit when you’re browsing your backlog.

Finding Toriyama’s other works piqued my interest in the other works of other mangaka outside of their popular work.

Rest in Peace, Akira Toriyama and thank you for being a part of my childhood—and adulthood—as well as those of many other fans’ around the world.

So, I’m more of a manga reader than an anime watcher—but anime definitely introduced me to the world of manga while also being the reason I prefer the print/digital version of a series. How about you? Which do you prefer or favor more: anime or manga? Let us know in the comments!

What Are Builds in Diablo IV.

That’s the build I have fun with and build my gear and aspect around that—and that’s without getting all into what does what and why it’s there. Then again, when I play with my brother we’re usually leisurely doing nightmare vaults and dungeons and the Helltide. We might start off with a lair or two.

Ultimately, I’ll say this is a series worth reading 100-percent. It’s a fun, fast-paced series thst just gets it done for me. If you’ve read Swordmaster’s Youngest Son, let us know what you think and recommend some of your favorite isekai series.

Diablo IV: How is Seasons 3 Holding Up?

If anything, they were vehicles to explain how you got this season’s mechanic and why you have it—and that’s fine. I really prefer the enemy density and aggression in season three although they can be a bit daunting in vaults along with the traps. If I could have season three enemy density with season two enemies, that would be great. I loved fighting the Blood Seekers and the Ancients at altars.

Retro Reflections: How 80s and 90s Game Design and Controls Shaped Difficulty in Gaming.

Also, it wouldn’t even matter since most of us played these games by ourselves. If you let someone borrow a game, it still didn’t matter because you just had the time record and that friend’s initials. I mean, it meant something if you really didn’t want to be ranked lower on the time records and were willing to play the game over again.

What features or design decisions from the 2D era of the 80s and 90s added difficulty to you? Let us know below!

Game Changers: Four Features That Revolutionized Gaming in the 80s and 90s.

The skip scene button was something I first noticed in Final Fantasy X-2 at a time when FF really needed them. From FFVII onwards, Square Enix really got more and more into its cut scene bag and those cut scenes became longer and longer as well as popping up more often. It could be frustrating when you’re really enjoying the action in the game and want to get back to building your character up and whatnot only to sit through three-or-four minute cut scene number three.
